We know Blue Ribbon knows sushi, but do they know burgers? Yes, as a matter of fact, they do, and they do it pretty darn well to cater to all the late night munchies that New Yorkers have. This restaurant was made to welcome the late night dining scene, but without taking away from the high quality dining experience that you’d find when ordering a hangar steak. The restaurant is renowned for its late nights so expect a line when coming at 2AM, but you’ll be glad to know it’s worth the wait to get a try at their Beef Marrow & Oxtail Marmalade.

There’s a hidden meal that most people rarely have a chance to witness. It occurs in the depths of night and finding a late night food joint to fight back the appetite dragon can be a challenge, especially in California. There is really only one go-to for late night food in California, and it’s in Los Angeles. Fat Sal’s Deli is whipping up and slinging out some of the best late night comforts with a Fat Sal’s twist. Their sandwich, which typically consists of the word fat followed by someone’s name, each has their own uniqueness and toppings, making them all a must-try. But the real deal that makes Fat Sal’s the best late night food in California, has got to be their West Coast burger. Beautifully constructed with an all-beef patty, melted Swiss, chili, crisp bacon, fried egg, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and drenched in Fat Sauce. Nothing compares to the West Coast Burger at Fat Sal’s when it comes to late night food.

Once that late night craving hits, Austin delivers. There are tons of great options and food trucks out there to cater to the post-bar crowd, as well as the people who just get hungry at night. Halal Bros is my top recommendation because not only is it conveniently downtown but the food is downright delicious. I'm a huge fan of Middle Eastern food, and this spot is capable of competing with the same gyros I ate in Turkey. The authenticity here is almost too good for the drunk crowds coming in from Sixth. The lamb shawarma over rice is a great lower carb option. The prices are super reasonable and you can feed 2 people with only $12. Oh, and it's open until 3 AM.

D’arcy’s Pint has the perfect late-night food. Imagine a heaping plate of warm, crinkle-cut French Fries topped with just about any delicious topping you could imagine. They call this delicacy Darcy’s Famous Shoes. You can choose from meat toppings like bacon, ham, grilled chicken, or Italian Sausage, and veggies like onions and jalapenos that will be served over Texas Toast and a mound of fries which are then topped with homemade cheese sauce. You can get the ½ pint referred to as the Pony Pint or go big with the pint called the Horseshoe. For $1 extra, customers love the Buffalo Chicken option. There is nothing better than being inebriated and having a pile of food you can stuff in your face with your hands, don’t you agree?
