Let us introduce you to a bubble tea shop that will have unique character. Once you walk in, their first impression alone will make you intrigued, displaying action figures throughout the countertop to signify that the store has a keep interest in video games and anime. Their menu is comprehensive, including all of the bubble tea staples of milk tea, slushies, and all typical add-ons, such as tapioca and herb jelly, and atypical add-ons, such as lychee jelly and egg pudding. The milk tea is made with Lactaid for those lactose-sensitive tea lovers, along with using freshly brewed teas instead of powder. Their menu also includes quick munchies, such as the Japanese triangular on-the-go bite, onigiri, and variations of thick toast. Try their Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea for a floral touch to the traditional drink.

Love to gaze at tapioca pearls floating under your tea? Love bubbly teas? Then you should come to Honey Bubble! This place is the ultimate tea destination for many people in Georgia and I do not blame their feet for carrying them all the way to Ponce De Leon! The teas served here are brewed to perfection, in a very hygienic way – the sweet tea is protected with a seal at the top. Just insert a straw through the opening and suck those bubbles away! Honey Bubble stands out from other tea shops thanks to their lactose-free milk tea option! The Almond, chai, thai and vanilla with salted caramel marshmallows are some of the best you should try while at this sweet establishment!

Kung Fu Tea does a fun, unique spin on the already playful bubble tea. I highly recommend the wintermelon tea, but just try to get it with little to no sugar because it is already loaded with sweet flavor. Go with the bubbles as well if you decide to go no sugar. The glass walls make the place seem much bigger than it really is. The chairs facing the windows have electrical plugs to cater to the digital nomad crowd as well. The crowd is generally students from the University of Texas. As far as bubble tea goes, this might be the best spot in Austin. The soft and sweet smooth texture of all their tea is enough to keep me coming back.

If you have ever visited Taiwan, then you’ve most likely tried their beloved invention, Bubble Tea. The classic bubble tea mixes black tea with milk and topped off with chewy tapioca bubbles to die for. Luckily, if you live in Chicago, you can get this Taiwanese delight any day of the week. Vivi Bubble Tea is said to offer some of the most authentic Bubble Tea around which tastes just like they make it in Taipei. The most fun part of drinking bubble tea, besides slurping up those little tapioca balls, is getting the straw through the top. Take the pointy side of the straw and stab it through the plastic lid. You are a true Taiwanese tea drinker now!
