Cairo Wine & Liquor Detail Page >

"Cairo Wine and Liquor is a small bar in Adams Morgan that has a great selection of beers and cocktails. Some of their beers are imported from different countries like Bittburg. Their wine, spirit, and beer menu is quite extensive and this makes it hard to make a decision.
There’s nothing so fancy about this bar, it is the perfect spot to come relax with a bottle or two after a long day in the city of Washington. Given that the prices here aren’t on the high side and their drinks are quality, Cairo’s lounge is the ideal place to bring a group of maybe 6 and have a small party. The environment is neat, the ambience is casual and you would only find skilled bar tenders who mix drinks, make drinks and serve drinks with so much skill and finesse.Beer lovers would fall in love with this spot."

"Barrel Restaurant is known for serving brunch and making good bourbons and cocktails. The restaurant has two sections— the upstairs lounge and the elixir bar. The elixir bar is situated at the down floor and this is the spot where the magic happens. The space in here is not quite large and the lighting is dim. The bourbons and cocktails are made here by the bartenders who seem to have lots of knowledge and experience in cocktail mixing.
During weekend, seating spaces are limited and it’s always a full house. Everyone here can testify to the rich quality of their drinks.
The people at Barrel know that drinking on an empty stomach is bad so they add some of the best tasting biscuits, fried chicken, brisket Sammy, stuffed gnocchi, curried cauliflower, and waffles sweetened with apple sauce."

Their draft list is extensive and there drinks like--Ommegang Witte, Belgian White Ale, New Belgium, Ranger IPA Unibroue, Maudite, Strong Dark Ale, Delirium Tremens, Belgian Strong Ale, Palm, Belgian Amber Ale and the
Gulden Draak, Stronsz Dark Ale. There is very limited seating here and most times you might have to stand and drink. "Bluejacket is a brewery that is located in what seems to be an old industrial building. They have got something for every palette because the beers there are over 20on taps and 5 casks. The dinner menu is also as impressive as their wine list with good bar foods such as tater tots, warm soft pretzel with mustard, with fries that has been smothered richly in cheddar.
This is the perfect place to watch the game as they have got a really big flat-screen. The place gets packed very quickly and reservations are needed to be here. Most popular drinks on their menu includes; Forbidden Planet which is a heavily dry hopped Kölsch, The Lost Weekend which is a Citra IPA with a bold hop with a fruity finish and The Jam which is a tart strawberry-rhubarb wheat ale that dares to be different but still in the end has a great aftertaste."

"Big Hunt is probably the oldest bar in the city of DC and has a wide draft beer list. When you step into this spot you are greeted by people sitting, laughing and sipping beers from plastic cups. Yes, this is the dive-in kind of bar. The bar has three floors and four bars each serving different functions. There is a part where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and another part with an eclectic décor where they host their weekly comedy nights.
The comedy nights happen on Wednesdays and different acts perform for the entertainment of the audience/ guests. The bartenders may not be the kind you find at other high end bars but they do their work quickly.
They have got signature beers; the most famous is named the “Big ass IPA”. Weird name right? Don’t worry; it tastes better than it sounds. If you are feeling gloomy and in need of comfort, check out this spot. The comedy or IPA would definitely make you smile."

The Holy Grail Pub in North Dallas has certainly earned the rights to their name. IPAs, Stouts, Lagers, Pilsners and some coveted seasonal beers- you can sip on them all at this rustic hole in the wall. This beer joint’s location is quite unsuspecting as it’s tucked away in a typical Dallas shopping area making it a low-key place for locals after work and on the weekends. Even better, The Holy Grail is a great date spot as it is relatively quite, and you have a large beer selection to help take the edge off of those first-date jitters. The staff aren’t uptight like they may be in more trendy areas of Dallas. Expect a really laid back environment with a couple of sports games on the TV and servers who really know their beers. Another plus about The Holy Grail’s location is that there is always parking and always a seat.

If you’re eating with a group of friends or on a date, I highly recommend ordering a Cheese Board with house-made and locally sourced cheeses or a Meat & Cheese Board with a selection of cured meats. Their food prices are unbelievably low for such an establishment, especially if your meal is shared amongst friends. I’d also like to point out that Blind Butcher offers the ultimate Canadian beer food which is Poutine. If you have never had poutine then I am sorry for you because everyone deserves french fries doused in gravy & cheese curds while they enjoy a nice IPA.
