Tabelog Whole Beast Feast event with food bloggers and anyone who loves food!!!
DBGB is well known for the Whole Beast Feast. They serve only limited number of feasts so reservation 48hrs in advance is a requirement.
Just fabulous. The stuffing was good and the dessert cake that came out flambeed was delicicous!!!
Good meal with great people.
The best time of life.
Hope to see you all at the next event!!!
This event was a meet up organized by Tabelog. Basta Pasta is a well-known Japanese Italian restaurant located in Flatiron. The cheese wheel was awesome. Melted parmesan cheese and the pasta were literally thrown INSIDE the cheese. The performance is catchy and tasty.
Again, Tabelog event is held randomly with random people. Hope to see you at the next event!!
Donburiya is a traditional Japanese Izakaya(bar with tapas-style foods). The event was held to connect Japanese people in NY. Prix Fixe menu with open bar.
Donburiya used to be located on the East side and now it is newly open on the West side. The foods are exactly what you would expect if you were in Japan.
Tabelog event with different groups will be held here again in the near future! Hope to see many more of you!!

Last Saturday, we had a Tabelog dinner event at newish modern Taiwanese-American restaurant Win Son by chef Trigg Brown in East Williamsburg. This was our first event in Brooklyn. YAY! Special thanks to RestaurantGroupie and Margaret a.k.a SavorySweetLive for being such a great host :) You can follow them on Tabelog and also on Instagram.

Everyone had a fantastic shochu paring dinner event at Teshigotoya, a Japanese Izakaya in the East Village in NYC. One of our top reviewers, Stephen Lyman (@KampaiUS) recommended shochu pairings to our guests. Stephen is a Sake School of America Certified Shochu Adviser and the Cool Japan Ambassador for Shochu. He introduced our guests to 4 different shochu from Nishimoto Wismettac. Thank you Stephen for a fun and educational event!
