The California Breakfast Burrito Burger at Slater’s 50/50 was a great way to have an all-day breakfast in burger form. Well, Scott Slater has outdone himself with January 2016’s #BOMNation Burger, The French Toast Benny Burger. It is an open face burger with a runny sunny-side up egg, a 100$ sausage patty, chipotle sauce, and a syrup glazed sour dough french toast under bun.

Like many the Pizza Burger is my favorite burger at Slater’s 50/50. I was glad to see it added to the menu, but disappointed that I would not have it to look forward to every February. Well, that sentiment has been quelled with the Stuffed Lasagna Burger. Sadly, however, I am not sure if I am looking forward to having it again next year.

with , , and . I was initially hesitant to post this picture as this dish actually looks quite gross to me. The pasta looked like earthworms. But this dish is actually really delicious. The pasta is perfectly and the lemon adds a fresh acidity that really balances out the seafood sauce. One of the best dishes for me!
Simple unionpasadena. When the quality and texture of the is good, not much dressing is needed!
#IlPaggione 1990. I love with a little bottle age. This wine was already good right after opening, but the dark fruits really came out after a few minutes in the decanter. A bit too powerful for some of the pastas, but perfect for the meat dishes here unionpasadena

And the best part was the crispy skin. So yummy! Great job unionpasadena! (But please make more, it always runs out too quickly!)
The October #BurgerOfTheMonth at slaters5050 is the Asian Cheesestake #Burger, and it is exceptional! Messy as hell, but exceptional. If you insist on having the 2/3lbs I would advise using a knife and fork or else you'll have a big mess on your hands.
