Went to Nazan Giro Giro last night, a only meal in Honolulu. Decor was minimalist chic, food was pure and delicate, celebrating the natural flavors. Presentation was beautiful, all served on hand crafted dishes by Nanzan in Kyoto

Nanzan Giro Giro

Nanzan Girogiro is a casual Japanese restaurant in Oahu, Hawaii. They offer only one tasting menu $58 (+$8 for dessert and matcha). The food, decor and service were nice overall but the food was not memorable at this time. It might be from my high expectations.

Food:
All of the dishes were good but I was not impressed with any of the dishes. I wanted to have at least one standout dish through the course.

Atmosphere:
The decor was simple and casual - I liked the white themed and modern furnitures.
Attire: Casual

Service:
The service was great and I simply enjoyed the course during my stay.

Occasions:
Good for a date, dinner with friends.

Price (exclude tips):
$66 (Omakase tasting menu + $8 dessert and matcha) per person without drinks
