Although the wait was rather long, our party of 6 didn't mind as the food was really good. We had a selection of appetizers including babaghanoush, hummus, labne etc

My favorite entree was the lamb shank and Moroccan fish tagine. The French fries that came with the hangar steak was outstanding.

I also loved the hot chile paste condiment they give you. So good!

This is my bf's favorite restaurant and i cant agree more with him on that. there is always a wait so we try to go there as late as we can so we dont have to. Even at 930-10, there is still a short wait. They have a bar but its usually packed as well. We dont mind the wait though, the food is really exceptional and we dont go often. Its not our typical casual dinner spot, we prob come here once every 2-3 months or special occasions. This is a great spot for a date =)

Their menu isnt that big, but everything is so good. They have daily specials that change seasonally. We usually get their mixed platter as an app, that hummus is like amazing. If you dont like hummus, you will after having it cafe mogador. You need to try their tangines (they are known for their tangines). My favorite is the Casablanca.

I dont find their food heavy or greasy by any means, its just so flavorful that you want to keep eating until you burst. Their portions are huge either, its just the right portion. You want to leave satisfied with your meal and not fall into a food coma afterwards.

Salutations and a what it actually do everyone. Jack Buoy back from warmer climes and back in the saddle over here at Buoy HQ and I'm like, yo, who left the window open, you feel me? Christ, have you guys been dealing with this bullshit for two weeks? Glad I missed it. Anydangway, time to dust off the old Instagram with a real broken ankle of an egg dish from everyone's favorite place to go wait for a table: cafemogador. Halloumi eggs? More like, hey do me eggs. Or whatever. Few things make us go from zero to zipper busting baby arm faster than this dish, and if it's not made your list yet, may this winter be your last. Pray for the children.

Lunch time - one of our favorite times of the day! Our pick? Caf Mogador on Wythe avenue - their food is absolutely amazing and yes, they have wifi AND a bohemian inside backyard, where you could spend all day if you wanted to. So with the chilly weather finally upon us, where are us instagrammers to get our amazing natural light shots? Surely we can't be eating outside. That's lunacy! What ya gotta do is find yourself a coveted closed in backyard, a greenhouse room if you will. Like one of our favorites over at cafemogador in Williamsburg. With pillowy seating areas and surrounded by plants, this is a true indoor/outdoor escape to trick that old cold weather while you get some dope ass shots. Where's your favorite greenhouse back yard?

Brunch at Cafe Mogador

I’ve walked past this tiny café a billion times and am always amazed by the lines of people waiting and packed tables out front. I was meeting a friend for brunch the other day and decided it was finally time to try it out. We got there right around 1:45 and waited about 15 minutes for a table. The place seemed a pretty chaotic with waitresses and servers running this way and that. It took a little while to actually get our order placed but once we did the service for the meal was on point.

Cafe Mogador

The regular brunch specials here comes with orange juice and a cappuccino. We decided to add on one more drink a delicious Blood Orange Martini. This was a fabulous choice, the juice taste fresh squeezed and had a wonderful tart snap which completely woke me up and fit the meal.

Mogador is a Moroccan Restaurant so what better dish to get than the Moroccan Eggs.

Cafe Mogador

Two poached eggs with a spicy tomato sauce, homefries and pita bread. This dish was just about as fabulous as you can get. The eggs were perfectly poached with a nice runny center and soft whites. I’m kind of obsessed with tomato sauce on my eggs- I think it’s about the best thing ever and here it had just the perfect amount of spice. The potatoes were pretty average but good and the warm pita bread was delicious for sopping up the leftover sauce.

Café Mogador is certainly a solid spot. The food was delicious and easy on the wallet for sure. If you find yourself in the hood this is definitely worth the wait.
